However, if a user had an open session for one of the shares, then after the target is reconnected, the folders are not shared. The only solution I was able to find to get the shares also online is to restart the Server service. Has someone else seen this behaviour?

Do you have any advice? I have only seen problems that the shares do not appear after a reboot because the iscsi initiator is started after the Server service, but this is not the case here.
